Carrie Bedell

Carrie Bedell began her education career in 1997 and has been a member of the St. Mary Catholic School staff since 2025. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from Colorado State University and a Master of Science in Brain-Based Teaching from Nova Southeastern University. Before joining St. Mary, Carrie spent three years teaching in Wright, Wyoming, followed by 20 years at Valley High School in Gilcrest, where she taught health, family and consumer sciences, special education, math, and culinary arts. At the heart of Carrie’s teaching is her passion for finding meaningful ways to connect students to what they are learning. She finds great joy in watching students become empowered by their education and discovering the ways they learn best. Outside of school, Carrie enjoys flower gardening and spending time with her goofy Bernedoodle, Luna.
