What are the school hours? The school day begins at 8:15am (your child may be dropped off at 8:00am) and ends at 3:30pm for all students kindergarten through eighth grade. Our Before Care is available from 7:00-8:00am and the After Care is available from 3:30-5:30pm.
Do the students wear uniforms? The students wear uniforms. The uniform guidelines can be viewed in the Parent/Student Handbook. The uniforms can be purchased through Dennis Uniforms. The students wear a special "Mass" uniform to weekly Mass on Friday.
Is a hot lunch program offered? A hot lunch program is offered to the students through the services of District 6. Lunches can be purchased on a monthly basis. The lunch menu can be found on the school website.
How do I inform the school if my child is sick? Please call the school office 970-353-8100 and leave a message with your name, your child's name and the teacher's name.
Are your teachers certified? Is the school accredited? All teachers are certified. St. Mary Catholic School is accredited by the North Central Association.
Do you offer any extra curricular activities? St. Mary Catholic School offers Band, Orchestra, Yearbook, Student Council, Chess Club, Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, and Track & Field.
Do we need to be Catholic to attend St. Mary Catholic School? St. Mary welcomes students of all faiths.
Is tuition assistance available to all students? Tuition assistance is available to students who qualify through St. Mary Catholic Education Foundation, Greeley.
What is the birthday guideline for students entering kindergarten? St. Mary adheres to the Archdiocese of Denver cutoff date. A child born on or before October 1st may enter kindergarten.
What "specials" are offered to the students? Students are offered classes in art, music, physical education, library, Spanish and technology.
