Sara Thompson

Sara Thompson began her teaching career in 2017 and has been a member of the St. Mary Catholic School staff since 2026. She earned Bachelor’s degrees in Fine Arts and Forensic Science from the University of Central Oklahoma. Before joining St. Mary, Sara taught in Greeley-Evans School District 6 and Thompson School District in Florida. Outside of school, Sara is passionate about serving her community through two local charitable groups. She leads Weld Charity Needleworks, which creates hats, scarves, mittens, and soap bags for people experiencing homelessness, as well as the quilting group at St. Peter Catholic Church, which makes quilts for Catholic Charities.
