Jhan Martinez

Sra. Martinez is new as a staff member but not new to St. Mary. She is the parent of a 1st grader and felt God’s call to give teaching a try. Sra. Martinez has a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of Colorado in Fort Collins, a Master of Art from the University of Northern Colorado, as well as a Master in Social Work from the University of Denver. This will be Sra. Martinez’s second year teaching but first in a Catholic school.

In her spare time, Sra. Martinez relishes time with her husband and daughter as well as her two older fur babies, Rocky and Neo.

When asked why Sra. Martinez wanted to teach at St. Mary, she replied, “As a first-generation and native Spanish speaker, I want to share the love of Jesus, my language, and culture. I believe that a well-rounded education shapes not only minds but also hearts, bringing us close to Jesus. My biggest goals are to provide joy in self-confidence, unity, and fun into practice when learning Spanish.”
