Scrip is a no-selling fundraiser program that enables families to raise money for their nonprofit organization. Scrip is using gift cards in place of cash, checks and credit cards to pay for everyday purchases. When you purchase your scrip, you get dollar for dollar of what you purchase with a rebate going back to the school. Anyone you know can help our school and purchase our scrip.
It works by purchasing your scrip ahead of time. Forms are available in the school or parish office. Scrip card amounts are varied, depending on the store, however, the increments are between $10 and $50. When you go shopping, you pay with the scrip card. If you do not spend your card all at one time, you will have a remaining balance to use the next time you shop.
Note: you cannot buy gift cards using Safeway scrip cards.
You can purchase Kohl's scrip cards through the school to pay your Kohl's credit card! Purchase your Kohl's scrip, then take it to the store and let them know you are paying your credit card bill, either at customer service or at the checkout (you cannot pay online using the scrip cards). Make sure your scrip card says KOHL'S CARES on it, as this is the only card accepted through Kohl's to pay your bill. It's a win-win for this business!
To keep our tuition costs low, each family is encouraged to purchase at least $5,000 of scrip per school year. This amount is easy to reach when you get in the habit of always having scrip in your wallet before you shop. Remember that it is not an extra cost to you. The stores pay the rebate to the school.
