Originally from Louisiana, I got my Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing, and worked briefly in the Hospitality industry before being called to education. In 1997, I returned to school for my Alternative Certification in Elementary Education and began teaching in the public school system, where I felt drawn to support the students and be their advocate. After moving to Colorado in 2012, I worked in the Catholic School system where I could continue to be an advocate for students but to also evangelize to them and help strengthen their relationship with Jesus and become more faithful Catholics. I was blessed to spend 8 years at St. John the Baptist in Longmont, first as a Kindergarten teacher and then as a 5th grade teacher. While at St John, I graduated from Regis University with my Master's degree in Educational Leadership in May 2020. During the pursuit of my Masters, I also served on the school's Leadership Team. I feel very fortunate to be called to continue my vocation as principal of St. Mary Catholic School in Greeley, where I will work to help those around be grow closer to Christ.
