Looking for fun ways to interract and support your child's education? Here are a few ideas! Have fun and enjoy the leisure days of summer!
Practice math facts by standing on one foot until you get the answer to an addition or subtraction fact. Remember, kiddos going into second grade should have their addition facts memorized to sums of 12 and minuends of 12! KEEP PRACTICING!
Practice dexterity by having a Cheetos catch! All you need is a bag of Cheetos, a partner, some shaving cream, and a shower cap. Stand apart from each other. Now put on the shower caps and spray your head with shaving cream. Set a timer for 1 minute, and see how many Cheetos you can make stick to your partner's head!
Don't have time to go camping? No problem, you can camp out in your backyard! Pitch a tent, grab your sleeping bag, and enjoy sleeping out in nature! For extra fun, check out a book from the library on Star Gazing, and see how many constellations you can find.
Are you working on your Summer Activities Packet? Remember, these are due to Mrs. Frank the first week of second grade if you want to earn a gift card prize. (Hint: it rhymes with fold cone.)
